I have been involved in documentary productions for more than 20 years. Of course, 20 years ago there was not such a thing as videography as we know it now. The video cameras were big, expensive units only deployed in the studios. Those days, like everybody else, I was shooting and editing in 16  mm. 

- Research

I am within a few hours from most of the major archaeological and historical sites of Anatolia. If your project requires more information about the locations where you intend to shoot, I can easily travel to those and gather everything you may need. If your needs are visual, I can take either digital images or shoot DV footage that I can dispatch to you in record time. I have a very fast DSL internet connection and excellent knowledge of internet video technologies so you can have the images, stills and video, or information at your fingertips in no time.

I am within 100 meters of Institute of Nautical Archaeology's Library which has close to 10,000 books, mostly about Anatolia and Turkey. If your project is an archaeological or historical documentary, I may have more resources available here than you do. Having done the research and production of my own documentaries, I hope I can help you at the research stage of your production.

Of course, you plan to come over and choose the locations yourself. Perhaps you would like me to go out for the scouting of the sites before your arrival so you can save your precious time for fine-tuning  the location decisions when you get here. Because I have been acquainted with the museums and the archaeological sites around and know most of the directors, this preliminary scouting can save you time and money.
