SAT. 9/23/2000

We got to Nemrud Dagh early in the morning thanks to Karakachak the donkey. We greeted the guards on their East terrace little house, drank a tea with them, and they assured us they will help with filming on the terrace.  

After having a tea with them we started working and filming in the west terrace

In the afternoon we had an interview with the director of the Adyaman Archaeological Museum who is posing here with the crew and his wife. They cooked lunch for us on top of the mountain just before the interview.

Then, the donkey driver, Sahi bey, invited us to a wedding in a nearby village.  We ate, danced and had a wonderful time with wonderful hospitable people.
